Upload many profile photos at once, then (optionally) publish them to your Member Directory.
Path to batch upload:People → People Settings → Batch Image Upload Directory behavior:Web & App → Hub & App Settings → Member Directory Settings
1) Check Member Directory Settings First
Go to Web & App → Hub & App Settings → Member Directory Settings.
Confirm:
Member Directory is enabled.
Display Profile Photos is checked.
The desired classifications are included.
Any sensitive departments (e.g., Youth, Counseling) are excluded if needed.
Note: Minors are never shown as individual entries in the directory, even if they have profile photos.
2) Open the Batch Image Upload Screen
Go to People → People Settings → Batch Image Upload.
3) Upload Your Images
Click Select Image(s).
Choose one or more files. Each image appears in its own row with a person selector.
Speed tip: Start typing a name for the first picture, press Tab to accept, and the cursor jumps to the next row.
If you need to remove and re-upload an image later that can be done in their profile.
4) Decide if Photos Should Show in the Member Directory
Checked: All matched photos become visible in the Member Directory for users who:
Are logged into the Personal Hub, and
Have permission to view the directory, and
Are included by your directory settings (classification, department, age, etc.).
Unchecked: Photos are saved to each person’s profile and are only visible to logged in Admin Users and not published in the Directory.
5) Save Your Changes
Review each image ↔ person match.
Set the Publish checkbox as desired.
Click Save.
Connection Card Pro will attach each image as the person’s profile photo and update the directory immediately if publishing is enabled and allowed by your settings.
Examples
Example 1 — Launching a New Member Directory
Enable and configure the directory: Web & App → Hub & App Settings → Member Directory Settings (turn on Member Directory and Display Profile Photos).
Go to People → People Settings → Batch Image Upload.
Click Select Image(s) and choose all JPGs from your photographer.
Select the matching person for each photo.
Check Publish these photos to the Church Directory, if enabled.
Click Save.
Members who can view the directory will now see profile photos for everyone you matched.
Example 2 — Internal Photos Only (Not Ready for Directory)
Leave the directory off or disable Display Profile Photos, or leave the publish checkbox unchecked.
Go to People → People Settings → Batch Image Upload.
Upload and assign all images.
Do not check the publish checkbox.
Click Save.
Staff will see photos on person records, but photos will not show in the Member Directory.
