WAITING LISTS FOR EVENTS

A Waiting List option is available for use when you have a limited number of registrations you are able to allow for an event! Connection Card Pro makes it easy for people to add themselves to a waiting list when your registrations have reached your set maximum limit. We also make it easy for you to easily move a person off the waiting list to your registrations when you have any cancellations!

Please Note: Waiting Lists are not supported for Events with performances.

To Use a Waiting List for your Event:

To create a new event go to Events > New Event 

OR

To edit an existing event to add a waiting list go to Events > View Events > Edit to right of event

• On the Registration Settings page select “Yes” from the drop-down menu in the “Use a Waiting List” field.

Once registrations have begun, you can quickly view from your Registrations list how many spots are remaining, or if your event is full, and how many have signed up on the waiting list for this event.

Click on “Registrations” and scroll to the bottom to see those who have been added to the waiting list for that event. In this Waiting List section, you can “View Registration” or “Confirm Registration” if someone from the registration list above has cancelled/been removed, making room for this next person on the waiting list.

Paid events: They will still be asked for their payment information if required to pay to register, but they will not be charged until their registration is confirmed and they are moved off the waiting list.

Once registration is full, registrants will see a notice when they start to register that the event is full but that they may still register to be added to the waiting list. Their confirmation will show that they are on the waiting list and that they will not be charged until their registration is confirmed (if this is a paid event).

Please Note: Waiting Lists are not for use with Performances – Waiting Lists are not supported when your event has different performances

Moving someone from the wait list to your registration:

• From your Registrations page for the event, you will need to “Cancel Registration” from the hamburger menu to the right of the person who is no longer going to be able to attend first before Confirming registration of someone on the waiting list.

When someone is moved to the registration list from the waiting list, any admins who have been checked to receive registration notifications will receive an email notifying them of who has been moved off the waiting list and is now a confirmed participant.
