How to Give Online or Set Up a Recurring Donation
You can give to your church securely and easily through Connection Card Pro. Whether it’s a one-time gift or a recurring donation, this guide walks you through every step.

Ways to Give
You can give in one of the following ways:
- Via Link: Visit your church's giving page:
(This is often found on your church's website)
- Via Text (if enabled):
Text the word Give to your church's phone number and follow the instructions.
- Via the Personal Hub:
If you have access to your Personal Hub, you can:
- Click “Give Now” or “Set Up Recurring Gift” on your dashboard
- Or go to the Giving tab in the left-hand menu

Step-by-Step: Make a Donation
- Enter the Amount: Type how much you’d like to give.
- (Optional) Check any of the following options:
- “Yes, I would like to cover the processing fee”
- “Make this a Recurring Gift”
- (Optional – if enabled):
- Choose a donation purpose
- Add notes or instructions

If Setting Up a Recurring Gift
- Choose a recurrence (e.g., Weekly, Monthly, Bi-Weekly, etc.)
- Select a start date (today or a date within the next 30 days)
- Choose how long it should repeat:
- “Until I cancel it”
- 3, 6, 9, or 12 months
- Or select a custom end date

You’ll be asked to enter:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- (Sometimes) Your mailing address or additional info
Fields may vary based on your church’s settings.

Choose a Payment Method
- Credit or Debit Card
- ACH / Bank Transfer
- Saved Payment Method (if logged in and available)
Once entered, click Pay or Donate to complete your gift.

Saving your payment method
If you are logged in when completing your gift, you will have the option to save your payment method to make giving quicker in the future. This option is not required. Whether you choose to or not, your card and banking details are never accessible by your church or their staff, and your card and banking information are not stored on our servers. Saving your payment information is safe and secure!
Confirmation
You’ll see an on-screen confirmation and receive an email receipt. If you set up a recurring gift, the email will also include a link to create your Personal Hub login (if you haven’t already).
If Something Goes Wrong
If something goes wrong, you'll receive an error message telling you the issue. Usually, it's as simple as an incorrect card number, expired card, or invalid verification code. Sometimes, it may be an error message from your bank (such as "Do Not Honor" or "Fraud") - in this event, you may need to contact your bank or try another payment method.
Once you've resolved the issue, please try again.
If you do not receive a confirmation and also do not see an error message, and are unsure if your payment went through:
- Do not attempt to give again immediately
- Check your online banking or credit card account
- Contact your church directly to confirm your gift
This is rare, but it’s best to verify before trying again.
