Connection Card Pro is designed to be powerful yet approachable. While different modules offer different tools, many layout principles remain consistent across the system. Once you know how to navigate one area, you’ll feel at home in the rest.
This guide outlines the interface patterns that help you quickly find what you need, wherever you are.
Connection Card Pro is divided into modules, each with its own left-hand menu item:
Each module’s menu generally follows this structure:
Menu Item | Purpose |
---|---|
View [Items] | Always the first item (e.g. View People, View Events) |
New [Item] | Second item (e.g. New Person, New Event) |
Tools | Other tools relevant to the module |
Settings | Always last; includes setup, imports, tag management, etc. |
Custom Lists | (People only) appear below if marked “Include in Menu” |
Other Links | (Events/Forms) automatically link to Registrations/Submissions |
At the top-right of every admin page, you’ll find three helpful icons (from right to left):
Icon | Functionality |
---|---|
👤 User Menu | Click your profile photo to access user settings, Personal Hub, account settings, billing, or logout |
âť“ Help Button | Access help docs, tutorials, contact support, and search the Help Center |
đź”” Notifications | View recent alerts or updates tied to your account |

Most modules and tools use list-based pages (tables) with the following patterns:
Button | Position | Notes |
---|---|---|
View / Detail | Leftmost (when applicable) | Shows more info about the item |
Edit | Always 2nd from right | Opens the edit form |
Remove | Always far right | Triggers a confirmation popup before deleting |
Dropdown Menu | To left of Edit/Remove (when present) | Additional actions depending on context |
Tool/Option | Location | Notes |
---|---|---|
Filters / Search | Top of page | Varies by module; often includes tag or type filters |
Export Button | Top-right or top-left of table | Small black icon for CSV/PDF export (when available) |
Sortable Columns | Click column headers | Sort data (if supported for that column) |
At the top of the left-hand menu, you’ll find customizable shortcut buttons for fast access to frequently used pages. Click the ✏️ icon to edit your shortcuts.
