Each person's profile should have a unique email address and a unique cell phone number. We recommend not using the same email address or cell phone number for more than one person within your organization. 

We make this recommendation for a number of reasons: 

When using the same email address or cell phone number with multiple profiles in your organization, this may cause the wrong person to be linked to a personal hub account, donations, events, etc.

Workaround 

However, if for any reason it is important that you include the same email in more than one profile, for example, if a married couple shares a single email address, then you could store the second person's email address by adding a plus (+) followed by their first name before the @ symbol. For example, if your email is "smithfamily@??...com", then you can save a second person's email as "smithfamily+john@??...com". 

As long as everything before the plus (+) sign matches, the email provider will deliver this to the correct address, while Connection Card Pro will view this as a unique email address. This is also a great way for families to organize and filter incoming email! 

However, please keep in mind that it is important to use the full and correct email address for at least one person, otherwise Connection Card Pro will not be able to match the email address up with an existing person.
