Importing Transactions from Bank Account

Save time by integrating with your online banking!

Connection Card Pro allows you to integrate your financial data with your online banking, allowing you to easily import real transactions to your financial ledgers. By linking your existing bank accounts to your Connection Card Pro account, you can streamline record keeping and view all transactions in one place. Any Register accounts in your Chart of Accounts can be linked to a physical bank account.

Connection Card Pro uses a trusted service provider, Plaid, to connect to your bank account using your online banking credentials. Connecting to a Bank account only allows you to VIEW and IMPORT Transactions and does not enable the execution of any transactions. This feature is only available for most banks in the U.S. and Canada. ***Your bank account number and online banking credentials are never stored on our servers.***

Prerequisites:

1. Create your Chart of Accounts 1st in Accounting > Financial Settings > Chart of Accounts.

2. Bank Integration - link your online banking by going to Accounting > Financial Settings > Bank Account Integration. Click here for more details.

Import your Transactions:

Once you have created your Chart of Accounts and online Bank account integration, from the menu go to:
Accounting > View Registers

• Select the register you have linked your bank account to and click on “Import from Bank” upper right.
  
• Note: you may only see 30 transactions at a time, to view more change your “From” and “To” dates at the top of the bank import page.
• Click to import any cleared transactions that are not already showing in your Connection Card Pro register. Do not import those that are still pending or your balance will be off with your bank account. You may want to open another tab with your online banking account opened to verify which transactions have cleared and which are still pending.
• After checking the transactions you want to import, click “Next Step.”
• Enter the account and fund for each transaction and click “Import Transactions.”
