Digital Guest Cards

Digital Guest Cards can be accessed via:
A Direct Link
Scanning a QR Code
T
exting a keyword

Digital Guest Cards allows new guests to quickly register their contact information with your church by the 3 ways above.  If preferred, set up one for each different meeting time so you will know where they visited!  Digital Guest Cards can also be used for prayer requests, automated birthday greetings, etc.

You do not need the Text Add-on when using links or QR codes since phone browsers can open these. But you will need the Text Messaging Add-On if you want to use a texting keyword.

If you want to create some sort of Sign-up Sheet, for example for Baptisms, you will want to create either a Custom Form or Event for Signups/Registrations rather than a Digital Guest card, as you will have more options for customizing in a Form. Forms and Events also are accessed via a Text keyword, QR Code and link.  Look under Forms in the menu.

Whenever a new person completes a digital guest card, they will be automatically added to your database. If you have the follow-up alerts widget enabled on your dashboard, their name will appear in there as well as be available in People > View People. The system compares their name and contact information with existing individuals in your database to help prevent any duplicate records. So if you test it with your own information, you may not see any change in your database.

Please Note: To prevent your guests from experiencing dead links, Direct links and QR codes are unable to be deleted once created. You can still create new links and codes to use and not use the older ones any longer, but they are not able to be deleted.
