How to Order a Background Check

Connection Card Pro’s Background Checks offer many options/packages for what type of background check you would like to run on staff, volunteers, etc.

Background Checks are one of the best ways to verify and confirm the right candidate for the job, along with protecting your organization and ensuring your staff and volunteers meet your qualifications for safety. You can either choose the Express option where you enter all of the candidates information, or you can choose the Interactive option and have a link with application emailed to them and have them fill out all of their own personal information. 

Connection Card Pro’s Background Checks are ordered directly from the person’s profile page in VIEW Mode.

Note: There is a Prerequisite before ordering your 1st background check - please go to People > People Settings > Background Check Settings to check your settings and make sure your Background checks have been enabled. Or go here to see our help doc on enabling Background checks and settings.   

To start your Background Check Process:

From the menu:
People > View People > View button for the individual

Once sent, you will not receive confirmation, but you can always check the status by viewing that Candidate’s profile page. If it says Pending, then you know the background service has received it.  It may take up to a couple of business days for it to be completed. You will receive a notification once it is completed.

NOTE: Orders cannot be changed once submitted, all information must be accurate and complete before submitting, and you must have the consent of the candidate to perform this background check. There are no refunds for incomplete submitted background orders.
